Creina has over 20 years’ experience in leadership and organisational development, individual and team coaching, and strategic change management. She believes that “right relationship” within self and teams, fostered in an encouraging yet challenging environment, provides fertile soil for magic to happen.
Her work is focused on creating environments that enable people to be the best version of themselves and generate innovative, rigorous thinking. She has delivered significant transformation for individuals and organizations. She assists teams to thrive by: Systemically building innovative thinking and accountable decision-making environments that encourage the best from those who inhabit them. Enabling leaders to embrace the difference within the teams and ecosystems in which they operate. Working with individuals and teams to augment the quality of relationships, and improving communication, alignment, collaboration and results. Allowing individuals and teams to lean into the best within themselves.
Creina is a founding director of Ithaca Leadership and is a global Faculty member of Time To Think. She teaches and supervises practitioner coaches, facilitates on executive programmes at several business schools, has been an internal and external examiner and an academic supervisor at universities of WITS, UCT, GIBS and Stellenbosch. Creina has served on the Executive of COMENSA, was an assessor with the Professional Development Foundation UK and an Associate at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital (a Harvard Medical School affiliate). She has an MBA (WITS), BA (Hons) Industrial and Organisational Psychology (UCT), holds several internationally recognized coaching qualifications and is a Certified Relationship Systems and Thinking Environment coach.
She has a deep love of wilderness and a concern for its conservation. Creina is active in protecting natural environments and engendering a value of these spaces with the surrounding communities. She serves as a trustee that engages with NGOs and NPOs in this context.
Creina loves being in the bush, walking on the beach, indigenous gardening, bird-watching and family time. She enjoys hiking, swimming, Pilates, reading, good food and being with friends. She has worked through deep personal challenge and change, something her professional profile does not reveal yet this allows her to empathically connect to her clients.
